Welcome to the TEAM 413 TM website. God is at work in our ministry all across the country. We are thrilled that you have invested your time in learning more about our exciting ministry. Thank you for stopping by.
TEAM 413 was founded because we believe that while on earth Jesus Christ had the heart of an athlete. His heart defined courage, endurance, power, perseverance, strength, loyalty, motivation, dedication, compassion, and truth. We believe that He gives us, as runners, the courage to start, the perseverance to continue the race, and the strength and power to finish strong. Team 413 is motivated to serve Him in all that we do by sharing His truth and compassion with whosoever crosses our path. We are loyal to His calling and we long to excel so that we may please Him in everything that we do and say.
So, what is TEAM 413 ? Simply stated, in Philippians 4:13 Paul declares that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. While I will never be able to run a five-minute-mile, I can start the race, run with perseverance during the race, and finish strong. We believe that Christ enables us to use our gifts, talents, blessings, tests, and trials to share His love with others. For those of us who have a personal relationship with Him, He asks us to know Him and make Him known!
You fill in the blank: I can ________________ through Christ who strengthens me. It may be walk a lap on the track, run a mile, run a 5K, run a 10K, run a half-marathon, run a marathon. Or it may be have a better attitude at work, improve my relationships, spend more time with my family, read my Bible, pray without ceasing...you fill in the blank.
